Training Workshop on Developing Effective Communication Skills

The University Psychological Counseling Department at Al-Sibtain University conducted a specialized training workshop entitled “Developing Effective Communication Skills,” held in two sessions on 19 and 30 March 2025, targeting university students from various academic disciplines. The workshop combined theoretical and practical components, covering the following topics: the concepts and types of effective communication, active listening and attentive listening skills, dialogue management and constructive discussion, nonverbal communication and body language, conflict management, and persuasion skills. Through this workshop, the counseling team sought to equip students with essential life and academic skills that enhance their ability to build healthy relationships and communicate effectively within both academic and professional environments.
